About the Orbit template
Orbit is a CV template with a light side column in which an oval photo in a terracotta ring stands on a beige circle. The first name is set in a large serif face, the surname in italics and the job title in widely spaced capitals. The summary sits in a navy box with a terracotta strip: the first sentence is set in a larger serif face and the rest of the text follows below it. The side column holds contact details, links, skills, languages, interests and additional information, while the main column contains experience and education separated by thin rules. Concentric circles in the page corners echo the template name. The layout suits art directors, graphic designers, branding specialists and people in the creative industries.
Two colours can be changed: the accent (summary box strip, closing rule) and the side column background. The photo is on by default; when it is hidden, the side column content moves up. Skills and languages appear as lists. Orbit is the choice over Herbarium for a dark summary box and geometric decoration, and over Weave for a warm terracotta palette. Full access is required.
